The balance in global natural gas markets is set to remain fragile in 2025 with rising demand confronted by sluggish supply growth, the International Energy Agency (IEA) has forecast.
Below-average growth in liquefied natural gas production and accelerating demand, particularly from Asian consumers, helped keep global gas markets finely balanced in 2024 and similar conditions are expected to prevail in 2025, the agency said in its latest quarterly Gas Market Report published on Tuesday.
